Hi my name's Lynn, Bark Busters Dog Training Watford, St Albans and Hertfordshire.
I'm pictured with Ralf, my Boxer and he's the reason I found Bark Busters and changed my life.
I had dogs of various shapes and sizes all my life and always trained them to happily live alongside me, with no problem, but then along came Ralf...
Ralf was a gorgeous little puppy who just grew and grew and grew. He trained me perfectly to follow his every command and took up sheep chasing as a hobby.
We went to live in Spain for a short while and I spent lots of time chasing Ralf across the countryside and lots of money placating angry Spanish farmers.
Later we moved back to England and things went from bad to worse. Ralf decided I needed to be looked after in our new home and he spent our walks guarding me from other dogs. He was barking and lunging towards them and jumping up at me if I tried to stop him. Added to this was the fear of him being shot if he tried to chase sheep, I was a nervous wreck.
Finally I realised that I needed some professional help and called Bark Busters.
I could' not believe the difference in such a short time. For the first time I was in charge. If I called him he actually came back. Dogs were allowed to greet us when their owners stopped to say hello and I no longer had to worry about farmers and guns.
I thought I knew everything there was to know about owning a dog but I was amazed at why the problems were happening. I decided immediately to start studying with them.
Bark Busters has provided me with a career that allows me to help other owners who have found themselves in the same situation. Understanding WHY your dog is showing this behaviour and communicating in a way that he will understand are the first steps towards sorting the problem.
I can teach you so much about dog communication and why dogs show their kind of behaviour and how to overcome their behavioural problems by using the correct communication.
