Hi I'm Andy Waterhouse the Bark Buster therapist in London. I joined the company fairly late in life, having spent many years in teaching. I have always had a love of dogs and indeed during my childhood had ambitions to be a vet. With exam results excelling in arts rather than sciences, I instead opted for a career in teaching.
My first teaching job was as a VSO in West Africa and it was my dog Soccer who alerted myself and my companions to an imminent attack by armed robbers. Suffice to say the robbers were fended off and Soccer saved the day.
Although I happily taught for many years both abroad and in the UK, my desire to work with animals never abated. Consequently when I heard about Bark Busters there was no doubt in my mind where my future lay.
Bark Busters has provided me with a career which is totally fulfilling and allows me to help owners dramatically improve their dog's behaviour and to understand why their dog behaves the way it does. Clients often comment that what we do is like magic because our techniques work so quickly and are so effective. In reality it is simply that once you understand why a dog behaves in a particular way and learn how to communicate effectively with him, everything quickly falls in to place. No magic but plenty of know how.

We took Bouncer on at 4 1/2 months as our daughter-in-law and son had split up and she felt she could no longer cope with his needs and the children\'s. We have found Bouncer hard work. But since speaking to Andy Waterhouse on the phone we have fed him differently which seemed to change his behaviour within days. During Andy\'s visit we saw our dog behave in a much calmer way. We feel much more confident in dealing with situations with Bouncer. Very first evening, lady knocked on our door. Both dogs were at the door, Bouncer behind the gate. Opened gate, he went to his bed; hand signal, kept our eyes on him, \'Bah\', and he sat then layed down, chin over the edge of bed, door wide open, for good 3-4 minutes - he was brilliant. Phoned Andy because we were so surprised and relieved that both Bouncer and our 12 year old Bonnie stayed back from the door and both layed down.

I was really pleased with how quickly Tyson picked things up and responded to the training. I am sure with frequent practice in time I will see a huge difference. Andy was very friendly and the steps he taught me were simple but effective. I will definitely recommend Bark Busters.

Andy Waterhouse is very clear, thorough, approachable, helpful. Thank you! After the first session Alfie was much better on the lead and a happier, more relaxed dog at home. He is much happier and so am I!!
