Ever heard the one about the claustrophobic Labrador? Or what about the ex-police dog, who was so aggressive he held his owners to ransom? No, well these are just a small selection of the types of problems that I am called out to on a regular basis.
Working as a Bark Busters Therapist is the most exiting and rewarding job I have ever had. Every day I am presented with a new challenge as no two dogs are alike and neither are their owners. I cannot tell what will confront me when I first enter a customer’s home. It can be anything from a tiny Chihuahua trying to take a nibble out of my leg, to a Rottweiler jumping up onto the sofa and putting his front paws on to my head…oh joy!!! But after a few hours training the dogs are usually much more relaxed and the owners are delighted.
The Bark Busters training system is so kind and flexible that I can vary the training to ensure it compliments your own dog's personality and troubles and also that it will suit your family’s needs. I know only too well what it is like to have a dog who thinks he is the leader of the pack. Cie my Rottweiler was a menace in the home and a nightmare out on the lead, however after joining the Bark Busters team a few years ago, he is now a perfect companion and a pleasure to have around.

Very interesting to learn about the behaviour of our dog rather then guessing what we should do for the best. Every session gave us a breakthrough with different aspects of Max's behaviour.

I was very pleased with the positive progress Milly has made. It was useful to understand about pack dynamics and where we had probably gone wrong with Milly over time. The literature Jinny left us is great to reinforce what we were shown and to help the rest of the family. It is very reassuring to know I can contact Jinny should we encounter a backwards moment with Milly. Presently Milly is as good and pleasurable as she used to be which is quite incredible from just one meeting and a couple of phone calls. Thank You.
