"Fran is very good at her job. She pointed out some things we didn't know about straight away. She showed us that its more about training US than training the pup! Very pleased so far!"

What our clients say about Bark Busters

30th July 2008

I thoroughly recommend Kim, Missy has been transformed in a few hours from a jumping, barking potential maniac, into a lovable, calmer dog. We only wish we had called for assistance sooner.

S. W., Brighton, East Sussex

  • Hide note from Kim Lummis, Bark Busters Trainer
Missy is a young dog and had been jumping up and nipping her owner, causing considerable stress. S. saw a real difference in her behaviour by the end of the first session, and the changes in Missy's diet have helped to further calm her down.

Odie is a strong dog but Amanda has worked wonders in 2 1/2 hours. He still needs work, but the methods are simple and they work. Thank you

Mr JC, Oxton, Wirral

Odie IS a strong dog, and needed guidance from his owner. He has given this, and more. An incredible difference when I popped back to check how they were getting on. Well done!!!

Tina was superb! She so knows her job; her knowlede skills are amazing. We had over 3 hours of intensive training, but my dogs started to respond within the first half hour. I also found Tina very friendly, patient, dog loving and she didn't judge me or "tell me off"! She is a credit to your company and I am looking forward to seeing her again soon.

I had a dog trainer from another company a year ago and I learned nothing. Tina gave excellent advice on feeding, we tackled problems in the home before going out. After she had gone I took my dogs out and it was amazing how they responded to the training Tina had taught. I realise we will have more sessions to fully tackle the problems, but the improvement I have seen in a short time. WOW! Amazing!

Two Yorkshire terriers, one(female)a rescue about a year ago. Through fear and no socialisation in her early life the female was fearful of various situations and therefore becoming aggressive and her male companion was learning her bad habits! We worked on giving them both confidence in their owners leadership so that they could give up the responsibility of trying to run the household! Lovely, friendly dogs at heart, they couldn't wait to learn a more social way to behave.

After 12 months of not being able to walk Charlie on lead in a satisfactory manner, after 2 hours he was a different dog on the lead. Have now managed to stop him lunging at other dogs. He is a pleasure to walk thanks to Diane.

Within three hours I felt I had control over my dogs instead of them having control over me!

Amazed how quickly Rory responded to walking without pulling on the lead. Found the link between diet and Rory's aggression very imformative and early signs since changing his diet are promising

After years of frustration I think we've found someone who will finally help us to train our dogs.

These two black labradors are very different in character, one quiet and seemingly well behaved and the other boisterous and "in your face". However, it has proven much easier to rehabilitate the "naughty" one! The "quiet" boy was at first reluctant to give up his pack position! They are now both responding really well to the new found confidence of their owners, who are beginning to enjoy their company and walks once more.
