"Liz was extremely professional but also friendly and approachable. We felt that during the time she spent with us she made us feel that our problems were important to her and that a result was achievable. She left us feeling very confident but we also knew we could telephone her if we had problems."

What our clients say about Tina Edwards

Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist

Tina Edwards, Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist for Canterbury, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells

27th August 2008

The in which Marmite responded to the initial training session was absolutely amazing and she picked things up really quickly. I'm sure I'm going to end up with a beautifully trained dog.

This little dog is a recent rescue who initially was very quiet, but as she felt more secure and loved began to take liberties! Very friendly, but too demanding for attention, we worked calmly with her teaching her to watch and obey voice and body language and to gradually acclimatise her to be left alone without anxiety or barking for the "pack" to return.

She will be a fantastic family dog.

Tina was superb! She so knows her job; her knowlede skills are amazing. We had over 3 hours of intensive training, but my dogs started to respond within the first half hour. I also found Tina very friendly, patient, dog loving and she didn't judge me or "tell me off"! She is a credit to your company and I am looking forward to seeing her again soon.

I had a dog trainer from another company a year ago and I learned nothing. Tina gave excellent advice on feeding, we tackled problems in the home before going out. After she had gone I took my dogs out and it was amazing how they responded to the training Tina had taught. I realise we will have more sessions to fully tackle the problems, but the improvement I have seen in a short time. WOW! Amazing!

Two Yorkshire terriers, one(female)a rescue about a year ago. Through fear and no socialisation in her early life the female was fearful of various situations and therefore becoming aggressive and her male companion was learning her bad habits! We worked on giving them both confidence in their owners leadership so that they could give up the responsibility of trying to run the household! Lovely, friendly dogs at heart, they couldn't wait to learn a more social way to behave.

After years of frustration I think we've found someone who will finally help us to train our dogs.

Mrs C C, Westerham, Kent

These two black labradors are very different in character, one quiet and seemingly well behaved and the other boisterous and "in your face". However, it has proven much easier to rehabilitate the "naughty" one! The "quiet" boy was at first reluctant to give up his pack position! They are now both responding really well to the new found confidence of their owners, who are beginning to enjoy their company and walks once more.

Tina was patient and clear in her suggestions. Maddie had pulled on the lead for 4 years and it took about 5-10 minutes for her to walk beside me.

D & S Wallis, Plaxtol, Kent

  • Hide note from Tina Edwards, Bark Busters Trainer
Maddie is a "rescue" and has settled in well in her new home. However, she needed to be shown a new way to behave on lead and to trust and believe in her new owners as strong pack leaders. She is now well on the way to becoming a well adjusted member of the family.

Tina was very professional in her approach and very supportive. She offered clear advice and gave me back the confidence I had lost. We have followed her suggestions and seen considerable improvement in Sam.

Mrs C S, Ashford, Kent

  • Hide note from Tina Edwards, Bark Busters Trainer
A very intelligent dog, Sam had started to lose focus, confidence and concentration, but by using the Bark Busters techniques shown, the whole family have been able to give him the consistency he needed and he is now more relaxed and happy in his role as a much loved family pet.

Reinforced a lot of things I already knew, but giving more clarity about how to do them. Much easier with the help of someone more experienced.

Already a well mannered young dog with an owner who had already worked hard at getting him that way, they just needed some extra help in a couple of important areas such as recall and gaining more focus.

13th May 2008

We found the session with Tina very helpful and educational. She was very friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend Bark Busters to other people. 13th May 2008 Tina came out again at the weekend for our follow up visit and she was very helpful again. She gave us more good advice which is working well. I would just like to say a big thank you to Tina. Rocky is a loveable Rottweiler and I know that this is down to Tina\'s advice and training.

This young dog was proving difficult to toilet train, which was causing his owners distress. Following changes to his regime, he is now getting the right idea! 13th May 2008 It's lovely to meet such a sweet natured dog; he has very responsible owners who will always ensure he behaves well with people, children and other animals.

Very good with Charlie, he responded straight away. Also very good advice on what food is best for him.

Mrs B, Rochester, Kent

  • Hide note from Tina Edwards, Bark Busters Trainer
Charlie, is a delightful puppy, doing the usual "puppy" things, such as mouthing hands, feet and furniture. I showed his owners how to prevent any bad habits forming and some gentle leadwork and recall. It is up to us to educate puppies to be happy socialised dogs. Charlie, will no doubt grow into a lovely family dog.

Even on the evening of his first session he was a different dog and has responded so well to the techniques - Thank you so much.

Ms S A, Tunbridge Wells, Kent

This young dog was very friendly, but a bit too exuberant in his greetings!! He needed some structure and once shown how to be calm and get the attention he craved he began to understand how to please his owners. Walking, also had been difficult, but he is now focusing well and not pulling.

Very intensive trainng covering all aspects of Holly's needs.

Mr and Mrs W, Charing Heath, Kent

  • Hide note from Tina Edwards, Bark Busters Trainer
Holly is a Battersea rescue and perhaps lived as a stray for a while. A delightful dog who needs to feel safe; she responded really well to the training which with patience and calm will allow her to become relaxed and happy about being left.
