Alex dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Sibling rivalry
Sox didn't have the best start in life but I am delighted he has now found his forever home and a Mum who loves him very much. Our first session went really well and Sox quickly calmed down and started listening to him Mum. I can't wait to see how he is doing on our next session later in the month.

Alex dealt with Aggression, Barking, Jumping up
I have already been back to see Archie and his family and when I knocked at the door there was no barking from Archie. He was a different dog, much calmer and more content. More importantly, the family member who contacted me was no longer nervous of him. For the first time in ages she was happy to pick him up and cuddle him which was great to hear. When any dog lives with a family it is important that all family members are consistent so that their dog knows that they are all in charge and listens to them all independently of each other. This family have worked well together and I am delighted with the results.

Alex dealt with Pulling, Recall, Toileting
I love receiving feedback from customers, and I was so touched to receive this incredible feedback. I really enjoyed my session with Wendy, Mike and, of course, the star of the show; Oscar. All 3 of them were really keen to learn and the session absolutely flew by. The success of the day was down to them fully engaging with, and putting into practice, the skills I provided them with. Their commitment to Oscar shone out and I can't wait to catch up in a few weeks.

Alex dealt with Barking, Pulling, Separation anxiety
It has to be said that I don't work with many Golden Retrievers, but when I met Benjy, I could see why they had contacted me. He was so nervous. In the home he wasn't too bad - he just used to hide from strangers, however once outside on a walk he would pull his owners all over the place and he was a very strong dog. After doing some work around their home we took Benjy out and fitted him with a Wagg Walker (communication harness designed by Bark Busters). Even I was a little blown away with how well he did. Obviously he is not going to be fixed overnight, but I cant wait to go back and see him in a few weeks to see how he is doing. Keep up the good work Mum and Dad!

Alex dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Puppy management
Charlie is a lovely puppy, but he didn't realise his Mummy was in charge. He was also very good at getting his own way. Within an hour of being their Charlie was much calmer and started to listen to his Mummy. I'm really looking forward to our next session to see how has progressed, and to work more on his lead work and walking to heel.

I have met plenty of dogs that get excited when the post arrives, but I had never met a dog that got quite as focused as Harris. This made life a little difficult when trying to retrieve post from the porch when he was around. Once we get the dogs to start listening to and respecting their owner, we can start to focus on particular issues. I can't believe how much better he is doing with not attacking the post. The next session will be dedicated to his sisters recall. I can't wait!

Little Bob had been passed round from pillar to post before finally meeting his new owner. I'm delighted he has finally found his forever home and an extremely patient owner as Bob has developed a few issues. It is always important that before we start working with a dog, I gather as much information as possible, so that we can tailor the training program to suit their needs. I am delighted to say that Bob has come on leaps and bounds, both inside and outside the house. Not all behavioural issues can be fixed over night, or be completely fixed, but once an owner learns how to refocus their dog before the dog becomes too stressed, then walks can once again become a pleasure and not a chore!! I'm looking forward to my 3rd session with Bob.

These were 2 lovely, but very noisy and attention seeking little dogs, especially when out walking. They both used to like barking at other dogs. Before the end of the first session they had both really calmed down and had started to listen to their owners. I can't wait to see how they are both doing when I meet them next week.

I love jobs which involve little dogs that bark a lot, and this job was no exception. When I arrived both dogs barked and barked. After we had finished doing some exercises around the home we took them both out for a walk and I was warned about how they both barked everybody and everything. However, due to the fact that both dogs were now listening to their owner we had a very enjoyable and peaceful walk. The dogs just needed to see their owner as in charge of their pack. Another great result. Happy dogs and happy owner!!

Ted is a young Staffi, and boy was he a lively young dog. He used to have a habit of jumping up at people who entered his home and could easily remove somebody's glasses from their face or break a necklace. He certainly wasn't aggressive, but he could unnerve people with his jumping, and he had also start to bite people's clothing. Ted's Mum really was in need of some training but more importantly Ted needed a change of diet. Although the food he had been on for the past 12 months was a well known popular brand - it certainly wasn't doing him any favours!! Anyway, I am absolutely delighted in how much calmer Ted is, especially when he has visitors. No more jumping or mouthing and no more being shut away in other rooms. Well done to both Ted and his Mum. Keep up the good work!
