As first time dog owners, we felt we needed some help and a different approach with our lively 9 month old Japanese Spitz. Kevin was great. His method was very clear, easy and made a lot of sense to us as previous training methods ( treats, rewards etc) have not really worked with him. Jasper responded immediately to the BB training and Kevin never made us feel like failed parents! We are excited about using and practising the training methods in the coming months. At first I was apprehensive but Sharon immediately put me at ease. She was extremely informative and whatever questions I put to her she answered in a way that helped me to gain confidence. I learnt so much in the 3 and a half hours that Sharon was with Lucy and me. We did some exercises and some leadwork outside. Lucy and I have connected more with each other as we practice our leadwork etc.together. Alex was amazing with our dogs. They immediately responded to his techniques to the point that it looked like we had called him in for well behaved dogs. Nice easy to use techniques, especially having two we were finding it hard to teach them both at the same time. The behaviour has improved immediately and we are enjoying continuing our homework with them on a daily basis and feel it has greatly increased our bond with them as they are being more attentive to us now waiting for instruction rather than ruling our home.

My training is all about restructuring the family pack so that dogs feel safe, respect and listen better to their owners. Owners can then teach them which behaviours they are happy with and which they aren’t. In turn, this should improve the bond between owner their dog(s).

Absolutely incredible I was blown away by how quickly my dog reacted to Lee's training. I'm following the plan daily as instructed and max is responding fantastically to it. For the first time in years I've been able to watch animal program's, I can turn over with out any growling. I've got a second appointment booked for recall training which I'm 100% certain will be effective. Having the peace of mind that max is covered for life is great.

Day 3 after Alex came and saved us. Poppy is no longer a barker and has learned the pecking order in the house. So far so wonderfully good. Thank you Alex so much, mum couldn't cope with the barking because of her Alzheimer's and was ready to re home Poppy. Money well spent.

We generally get results sooner rather than later, but Poppy did really well and no longer barked at animals on the TV by the end of the initial session.

We contacted Bark Busters to help us with our 7 month old pug puppy. He's generally very good, but was barking a lot, particularly in our back garden. My husband and I really enjoyed our first session with Gina. She was friendly and professional. Gina has been very helpful via email since our session as well. We found the theory behind the practical training very informative, it explained why we were being shown to train Frank in a certain way, rather that just showing us what to do. It's been just over a week since our first session and we are already seeing some progress with Frank. We are going to continue to train him the way Gina showed us, and we're hopeful that his behaviour will continue to improve. We would definitely recommend Gina, and Bark Busters to anyone considering a dog trainer. We're looking forward to our next sessions.

Separation anxiety can make an owner feel like they are a prisoner in their own home. They worry as to what they will return to if they go out, even for just a short while. Plus they worry about their dog being unhappy and stressed! My job is to determine the root cause of any behavioural issue and then give the owners the tools and skills to resolve the issue(s). Some issues can virtually be resolved by the end of the first session, however some can take time. Separation Anxiety is often a slow burner, but if the owners are prepared to put the work in, we’ll get there in the end. I’m looking forward to catching up with these 3 in a few weeks!
