Bark Busters Reviews and Customer Testimonials

5th December 2015 - Angela Young

Remote Training Team dealt with Aggression, Barking, Jumping up, Pulling, Toileting

This is our 2nd meeting with Angela and it has been great. Ben is a HUGE and very powerful Boarboel (Google it!) and he is doing great. Changing to raw food is a great idea too. Angela will be able to guide you through everything and give you guidance in areas you probably hadn't even thought of. Get in touch with Angela if you need any sort of help with your dog.

- -.M, Preston, Lancashire (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Remote Training Team
Ben's owners have done a great job with Ben, they have really stuck to the training and he is now calmer, more focused, very well behaved and showing his big softie side, not just to his Mum and Dad now. It was lovely to revisit them today and see how well he is getting on. Your commitment to the training plan and your consistency is really paying off. Well done! I look forward to seeing you and Ben again soon. Thanks for calling Bark Busters in to help you with lovely Ben.

4th December 2015 - Shauna Hoey

Shauna dealt with Puppy management

Shauna visited us at home to offer support with puppy obedience skills. She was supportive, professional and her advice and guidance was invaluable. By the end of the session I had clear guidance about how to support my puppy and to reduce any unwanted behaviours to keep him safe. Having the 1:1 support meant that I was able to get constructive feedback and support to ensure that I was able to continue these skills afterwards. I have also been able to share them with family so that my puppy has consistency in his care.

2nd December 2015 - Alex Fraser

Alex dealt with Jumping up, Pulling, Separation anxiety, Other

Alex was very good at talking me through everything. Poppy was a different dog when he was walking her. She is improving all the time, especially with the pulling. I really feel as if I am getting somewhere with her. I used to dread walking her but I am getting more confident now. Poppy still needs a lot of work but I have every confidence in Alex.

2nd December 2015 - Angela Young

Jai the Doberman was 9 months old at the time of our visit and we have to say that almost immediately after, we had the dog we were looking for, much calmer and well mannered all of a sudden ! The tips to achieve this were very simple and easy to carry out. Further to the training etc Angela very kindly offered us some nutrition advice which virtually ended the toilet issues over night and did lead to a happier animal overall. Thanks Angela you were very helpful, look forward to seeing you soon.

Trainer note from Remote Training Team
It's lovely to hear that handsome young Jai is doing so well. He was a very bouncy, exuberant boy when I first met him and I'm so pleased that his owners have seen a positive difference in his behaviour since they have been working on their Bark Busters training plan. Thanks for asking me in to help you. You're doing a great job! I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

1st December 2015 - Neil Price

Neil dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Sibling rivalry, Other

Neil was a great trainer he made me and my dogs feel relaxed and ready to work quickly. He got to know our routines our family dynamics and how the dogs behave together and separately. The work we did was sensible easy to follow and it works. Not a total instant magic wand or miracle but a massive difference in the positive behaviour. I feel I have been given control and my place back in the pecking order. I will practice and do my homework, we are also reassured we have the Bark Busters help any time we feel we have an issue and will be checked in a couple of weeks to assess progress. Thank you so much Neil ...

30th November 2015 - Graham Milgrew

Graham dealt with Aggression, Barking, Jumping up, Separation anxiety, Other

We approached Bark Busters as initially we were concerned that Oscar our 7 year old Yorkshire Terrier was growling at our adult daughter if she came into the room. He was also jumping up at visitors and barking whenever anyone came into the home or walked past in his view. We called Jo for further help when my husband retired and Oscar became anxious when left on his own. Jo helped us to understand why he was behaving in this way and how we could address the issues. We have noticed a marked improvement and Oscar (and my daughter!) are now much happier.

29th November 2015 - Angela Young

Remote Training Team dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Pulling, Recall

I couldn't recommend Angela highly enough the difference she made is amazing. Bonnie was always jumping up at the tv, she has completely stopped now. Taking her out walking is so much more enjoyable now as she used to always bark when seeing other dogs and pull on the lead. Angela explained some very good techniques and a new lead to stop this and they really do work, we also changed her diet which she is certainly loving. Bonnie is so much more relaxed and happy so thanks very much.

- -.L, Formby, Merseyside (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Remote Training Team
Beautiful Bonnie was having stressful reactions to dogs on walks and to animals on the TV, so her lovely family had to be very quick with the remote to fast forward and avoid her launching at the screen! Now that they know how to communicate with her in a way that she understands and they are able to help her accept these situations without becoming anxious, Bonnie is a much more relaxed little girl.

28th November 2015 - Lee Hardy

Lee dealt with Chewing, Jumping up, Puppy management, Toileting

This was a first lesson for a 8 week old Labrador. Lee focuses on our ability to focus the dogs discipline such as chewing, biting and jumping up at the owners. Explained the use of a dog crate and how to get the dog use to the crate. Toileting options were explained At this stage We thought the initial lesson was well targeted at both the dog and the owners

26th November 2015 - Lynn Prentice

Lynn dealt with Barking, Recall, Other

Extremely helpful although I found it hard to take everything in but with the help of the training instructions I am making progress with Daisy. Perhaps two visits to cover what we did on 19/11 and to include more time on recall which I know I am going to need more help from Lynn on. When I phone Lynn after 14 days I will be asking her to return, I think Lynn will be expecting that. Lynn is a very good instructor and I was very happy with the time she spent with us.

25th November 2015 - Kevin McDonnell

Kevin dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Pulling, Separation anxiety, Other

Kevin filled us with confidence when we first spoke to him on the phone and that was more than justified when we met. His calm demeanour made us believe that he could do what he said he could and that proved to be true. First he talked us through the plan, then went through our problems giving us the advice and the tools to carry it out. We were amazed that separation anxiety was down to our behaviour with Kee but that we could also alleviate it when we put Kevin's advice into practice. The same calmness carried us through what we need to do to stop Kee barking at passing dogs, pulling on the lead and best of all Kee's fear and anxiety around other dogs. We didn't think for one minute that progress could be made in one day but boy, were we wrong! The icing on the cake came when we took Kee and Kevin's dogs onto Dartmoor and Kee was let off the lead - for the very first time with other dogs. After an initial growl, they played together like lifetime buddies, running and jumping, having the time of their lives! We are not so naive as to think that is the end of it. We are very aware that we have to continue with the training that Kevin taught us so that the behaviour we want from Kee in order for him to have a happy and balanced life will become second nature to him and to us. This is a 5 star service given by a 5 star expert. We are so grateful to Kevin for all his help and to know that he is there for us if we need him
