Talked me through what dogs understand and their role in the family. Knew straight away what Asa's problem was and gave us reasons as to why he was behaving as he was. Then showed us what to do and emphasised that his lack of concentration was due to diet. As Asa is a large dobermann with a guarding instinct we were relieved to know he can be trained to become much more of a pet minus the role of Leader and Protector, which he couldn't cope with. Brilliant advice and first visit resulted in noticeable progress.What a relief!

Kevin came to help us with our dog today. We were struggling with his barking, pulling and mild separation anxiety. As promised, Kevin was able to show us in mere minutes how effective the training was and it was like our dog had a different personality! We were left with all the info and tools we need to carry on the training and reassurance that Kevin will be on the other end of the phone should we need him. We are so glad we went with Bark Busters. Kevin as a trainer was very friendly and professional and was able to help us with all the problems we were experiencing with the dog. He even engaged our 5 year old daughter in conversation too! The dog was at ease with him from the start which was great. All in all a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend Kevin/Bark Busters to friends and family.

Angela was on time for our appointment and overall very knowledgeable. Our new puppy responded very well to her calm, assertive manner; demonstrating the success achievable with lots of 'timely' praise. She spent 5 hours here, despite our expectation of 3. She is clearly enthusiastic and was inspiring to my 16 year old son. She took time to explain her techniques and answered all questions put to her fully. We have further lessons booked and are confident that persistence in following her training advice will reap the rewards. On reflection, bringing a new puppy into the house 2 weeks before Christmas was not my best idea. He settled quickly but the disruption of a family Christmas full of lights visitors and excitement may prove to be a setback. Overall though, I would recommend Barkbusters and Angela as a positive experience.

Kevin arrived and I have to admit I was a little sceptical about the effect he could have, I have to admit I was wrong, Kevin was brilliant he explained what he was going to do and within minutes of his first exercise he achieved remarkable results, I was amazed how it worked really simple solutions that really work. I would 100% recommend him.

I have a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback who had two main behavioural issues: 1) jumping up at people coming into our home and 2) scared of other dogs when out and about. Kevin explained the reasons why dogs show this sort of behaviour and explained a very simple and extremely effective method to combat both issues. Within a couple of minutes of the practical training, my dog was listening to me, did not jump up and within half an hour he was playing with a dog he had never seen before in our garden! I am still shocked at how simple the techniques are and how my dog has become an even better version of himself. If you are contemplating using Kevin at Bark Busters, save yourself the time and just book him, it's money well spent, he earns every penny and I will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone with a dog! Angela arrived on the dot of our appointment and spent time listening attentively to the issues we have been having. Whilst friendly and engaging with extreme professionalism she teased out further details and clarifications and before she had even met Chester and Darcy knew exactly what the root cause was. Angela educated me about the importance of diet and appropriate equipment. Angela was so patient as we worked through a variety of activities with my often stubborn boys and varied and broke down the exercises so they didn't get bored. I was very comfortable with the techniques of passive leadership and we saw an immediate response! We had such an enjoyable day. Detailed written information was provided to remind me of our discussions and we have been enjoying our homework! I am delighted with Bark Busters service and could not recommend Angela highly enough.

Lee was very informative and listen to all the issues we had with our Tazmanian devil dog once outside, simple but effective technique to correct his very strong behaviour. Very interesting to learn about behaviour dogs use to asssert place In Pack which you wouldn't always think of but make so much sense! The best thing which none of the other dog trainers we have tried did was that lee didn't take Alf off me and show me what he wanted I did it all and this way understood a lot more. Excitied to see where this goes now!

We had a lovely few hours with Angela, helping us to train our gorgeous new little puppy Poppy. She showed us some fantastic training methods which Poppy picked up really quickly and we are continuing with them each day. Poppy seemed to really enjoy herself with Angela and took to her immediately. Lots of practical advice, tips and even brought two new toys for Poppy, one of which is now her favourite. Angela is lovely and patient and very easy to talk to. We would definitely recommend her and we are looking forward to our next lesson already and building on what we have all learned with Poppy as a family.

I want to say a massive thank you to Ben from Bark Busters. Not going to lie- I was a little unsure whether to go for this approach to help with my dogs reactive territorial behaviour at the door with visitors- and gave Ben a bit of a grilling on the phone before coming! However..... what a difference this has made. Straight away Rocky has been a lot more polite and calm in going in and out of rooms and in having food. The biggest test was this Monday when I had an unknown visitor- he did not even bark and waited until I allowed him to say hello, and he greeted them really lovely! (No tugging on clothes!). Wow! Ben was confident, knowledgable and read Rockys behaviour straight away. He was clear in his instruction, and the methods used were effective, hands off and transferable. It's esrly days and I will continue Rockys training- and hope his lovely new calm behaviour continues. Thank you!

Brilliant .. My dogs are different dogs and it will be a week in 2 days . The dogs were running the house .. My trainer gave me confidence back .. I now have a sofa to sit on .. No longer cleaning up mud .. Using crate when I go out .. And I don't feel guilty !!! I was too soft .. We have our life back .. Walking is incredible but I'm still following the training recommended . I have two dogs both with different issues when walking .. I'm taking them individually at the moment .. One of them used to pull so badly .. I've been taught how to do it .. The change was almost instant .. Fantastic tips .. Thrilled can't ️thankyou enough .. Bella and Evie's mum
