Lynn came to us after trying several other trainers to help us with our 15 month old stubborn Scottie Dexter with on lead aggression, recall and distance control. The on lead aggression was a big problem for us as well as him, making every walk distressing and upsetting. Lynn came straight in and could see that Dexter ruled the roost. She gave us rules and exercises to do in the house and on walks, and the result was instant. He still has a problem with certain dogs but we are not only able to pass most dogs, but he will sniff and move on without a problem. You have to put the work in to see the results and it must remain constant. We still have work to do with recall and distance control but the progress has been amazing so far.

Kevin was both professional and understanding, making an instant impact on our dogs' behaviour, even to the extent of being able to accept another dog into our home. He has given us clear instructions on how to proceed with our problems and we have already experienced significant changes on our afternoon walk following the lengthy and detailed session.

Sorry for taking so long to do this - but better late than never!!
Alex is a friend of a friend and when we heard about what he did we checked out some of his feedback. His reviews were excellent!! We knew that for first time dog owners such as ourselves he would be the best person to help us give our puppy the best start in life - and boy were we right. Alex was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - of which there were many!! We now have a very well behaved little girl who makes us all proud. Thank you Alex

I love working with puppies. It is important however that their owners take on board how they need to communicate with their dog, and more importantly - the training is ongoing to ensure the dog grows up knowing their position in the pack. Clearly her owners have worked hard and I am delighted with the results. Keep it up!!

We were amazed at the difference in our dogs after the first visit, they no longer jump up at the window barking at anyone and everything that goes by and it is now a pleasure to walk them instead of a nightmare. Our neighbours are very impressed they can't believe they're the same dogs, we used to get dragged up to the fields at the end of the road but after only 1 visit Lee had them walking at heel looking forward to the next visit from Lee when we will be concentrating on recall although I must say they have already improved on that due to the training, wish we'd have done it a year ago

Jo immediately gave us confidence in her ability and was able to explain behaviours we had not seen or understood....her manner was relaxed and even though it was not early in the day took the time she and we needed.
Her advice was welcomed and having followed it we did see some improvement and by the time she came a second time the improvement was noticeable....
Jo took her time and we were relaxed with her in the house and confident in what she said and the advice we received

ALex is very friendly and easy to get along with. He has helped with puppy training of my miniature schnauzer to such an extent that everyone comments on how well behaved he is for such a young dog. Jake is now very obedient especially off lead. Having been to puppy classes I would definitely say the best way to train a dog is one to one training for very little extra cost. I would like to thank Alex for the confidence he has given me with Jake and his training.

We have had Alex visit us on a number of occasions now to teach and give us better tips on how to walk our Staffie Diesel and also how to calm him down when we come across other dogs who are aggresive. He has also taught us how to correct Diesel when in the home from excessive barking when hearing noises or the door bell. We would recommend Alex as a great trainer who is calm and very informative and spends time explaining procedures. It is like having our very own Ceaser Milan in our home. Thanks again Alex.

Diesel is a lovely natured Staffie who loves people. Her owners used another Bark Busters trainer (who used to cover my areas) many years ago and took out life time guarantee. They started to have some issues with him barking in the garden and walking him past other dogs. I visited them some weeks back and helped them with both issues. It was clear to see that their passive leadership wasn't as good as it could be and as a result Diesel wasn't not feeling as secure as he could, especially outside. I returned yesterday to focus on his walking and we encountered a number of dogs. He barely reacted, even when we passed 2 staffies in a front garden who where barking quite aggressively. Although I don't think they will need me to go back again, I would like to go back in a month or so to se how Diesel is doing.

We were impressed with the professional, experienced approach from Kevin McDonnell. We liked the fact that the dog was looked at as an individual and that no treats or punishments were recommended in helping correct his behaviour, instead the techniques used were acceptable and effective. We have already noted an improvement in Lincoln's behaviour.

I was absolutely amazed with Kevin's traning techniques. It was a lovely experience seeing my dogs learn so quickly and calmly . I would recommend bark busters to people in the future & I was very happy with Kevin McDonnell. Just after one day my dogs are doing what I want them to do and that is making my life so much easier. I'm thrilled .. It was worth every penny!

It was worth every penny paid. We learned how to control and train our dog. Even though she is just a small Morkey she managed to cause a lot of headache with never ending barking. Things get worse when baby arrived - she was barking all the time when he cried and tried to jump on person holding the baby. Se would not walk on lead without pulling.
We are still working on pulling and coming back when called, as well as barking at postman but it all seems much more under control.
Thanks to Neil we have a happy family again, I would never forgive myself if we had to give the dog away.

Kevin arrived on time, his training was very clear and gave me confidence to use the techniques he told us about. I love my dog but he was a real handful. Kevin has made us realise we were causing a lot of the problems and now we feel confident to manage the behaviours as they arise.

After the initial session with Sharon I learned so much (It is really owner training!). Sharon is extremely knowledgeable and imparts her knowledge in a very enjoyable and practical way. Jake is already responding to the training methods Sharon showed us in the first session only 2 days ago. He seems much calmer already and I am enjoying taking him out walking again. I am looking forward to further sessions with Sharon when we can start working on Jakes other issues which I have no doubt if I follow Sharon's methods will be sorted in time.
