When our new dog Nessa started to make us feel we genuinely needed some external help and advice, initial research left us confused. Did we need a dog trainer or a dog behaviourist? After lengthy research and lots of discussion, we kept circling back to Ben at Barkbusters. We took the plunge and arranged our first session. After that first session we felt that Ben provided everything we expected in terms of behaviour and training. The results were immediate and Ben spent lots of time listening to our individual concerns before teaching us how get the very best out of Nessa in terms of basic behaviour, control and most of all, being able to go for walks whilst while Nessa stayed calmly at heal, ignoring distractions and accepting that during walks, and whilst indoors, we were pack leaders and not her. The changes to our lives, and I must add Nessa's, have been immeasurable. She is now a much happier, calmer, content dog. Ben has always been on hand if we needed advice, and left us with a renewed self confidence that we could do everything he taught us. That more than anything, made all the difference. Excellent 1st visit from Ben, he was calm and put both Billy and myself at ease, easy to follow techniques, cannot believe how quickly we managed Billy to walk well on a lead it is now a pleasure to take him for a walk, the barking is becoming less and looking forward to the next lesson with Ben

Thank goodness for Ben Jordan! We had almost reached desperation point with our two Jack Russell puppies, as despite being a doggy household we were struggling to overcome the multiple training problems we were experiencing. We particularly needed help with their constant barking which was disturbing our neighbours as well as being problematical for us. This attention seeking extended to whenever we were getting ready to go for a walk, the puppies and our older dog would run around barking and were completely out of control as we tried to leave the house. Ben spent a long time with us, really getting to know the dogs and listening to us as we worked through our various concerns. He then started instigating step by step training techniques ensuring we were both confident to use these methods too. We were so pleased to see the dogs responding so well. It didn't stop there as Ben joined us on a walk round the local area, clearly demonstrating the correct way to control the dogs on a loose lead. Since the end of our first lesson we are practising the techniques Ben taught us every day. We are so pleased with the positive response we are getting and the dogs seem so much happier and more settled too. We are looking forward to our next lesson and thoroughly recommend Ben to anyone needing support with their dog.

Ben was amazing, patient and very knowledgeable! We are over in Cornwall for our pups for holiday and needed help with his pulling on the lead and jumping up at others due to excitement. Ben taught us the tips and tricks that would help with just that and always asked if there was anything else we were concerned about. The next day we put ourselves and Riley to the test in Looe and it was like we had a different dog! Highly recommend and thank you again Ben!

Ben is an incredible trainer. Spot & I learnt so much that afternoon and all information was super clear. It was a lot to take in so I was grateful for the notes Ben emailed me at the end of the day so that I could continue with the training. My main concern with Spot was that he no longer wanted to get into my car. Just 4 and 5 days after Ben's visit and Spot has been getting in without any bother. He is listening more to my commands and is walking much better on the lead. This has been the best money I have ever spent! Thank you Ben, you have changed our lives.

Ben is really friendly and put us at ease straight away. He explained the process really well and checked all of the way through with us that we understood what he was saying during training sessions. He was brilliant with Dottie who I think has become her best buddy! Dottie responded to Ben really well and we noticed a difference in her behaviour over the following weeks and beyond. We have had 2 sessions with Ben to help with a particular behaviour that our dog Olive has developed. So pleased we asked for help,Ben was clear and professional and helped us understand how we should adjust our behaviour! Our first lesson with Ben went really well. He listened to our concerns and showed us ways to work towards achieving a solution. He was very patient and re explained if we were unsure. We went through different scenarios indoors and outside. We feel that Ben gave us the tools to firstly help us become better dog owners and for Rex to understand what was expected of him.
