Kevin has totally transformed my dog, worth every penny. Within 10 minutes i was taught how to calm my hyperactive border terrier, and it worked! We even went to the cafe at the beach and not a peep out of him. Lots of work still to do but now i know how to do it. Brilliant.

Amazing transformation….!!! We are still in shock…! We contacted Kevin as we were having issues with our 14 month old Cavapoo, Blaze who was trying to be the ‘top dog’ and rule us all – we knew what he was doing, but we had no idea how to stop it. His behaviours were, over excitement when meeting people, separation anxiety, excessive barking in the garden and recall issues. On arrival Kevin immediately put us at ease, and within the hour we had a totally different dog. Overall Kevin spent 3 to 4 hours with us, both inside our home and out and about in our local community. He addressed all the issues by embedding the straightforward technique that was initially learnt. We cannot believe that something so easily enforced can work so effectively. We now have a very well behaved dog who is much happier, settled and contented now he knows that it’s not his responsibility to keep us all in check. Our sincere thanks Kevin. Wow!!! This service is absolutely amazing! Do not waste your money elsewhere. There is five adults in our home and lead busy in and out the house lives. We have a Reggie the Patterdale and Frank the cocker. We have tried lots of other training and some made our dogs worse and that cost us a fortune and more than we spent with Barkbusters! I was apprehensive this could work given nothing else has. Firstly Kevin is amazing. Put us at ease, was kind, friendly, fun and very very knowledgeable. We knew we had failed our dogs but Kevin never made us feel that way he is there to educate and help and this training is worth every penny. Having read the reviews I thought this is amazing but maybe other people’s dogs aren’t as tough as ours and it won’t work for us. I had got to a point of avoiding all situations out walking and dreading people coming to our house as we would have to manage the dogs, jumping, barking and sometimes being aggressive as Frank can be protective. Within one minute of our dogs being out in the room they were calm, listening, doing as they’re told. We literally couldn’t believe what we were seeing. We did a some training in our garden and the dogs were perfect. Then Kevin suggested going out and the busier the better and my anxiety hit the roof. I thought this is where it will all go wrong. There’s no way I would take them to a busy seaside and go to a cafe which is exactly what we did. They were again perfectly behaved. All of us were in shock. We gave Kevin a long a4 list of issues and they have ALL gone!! It’s all so simple too. Other training has been so complicated we haven’t stuck to it. This is easy, you’re in control, life is better and we can now take them everywhere and anywhere which is crazy to us as we avoided so many situations and felt so tied to the house and couldn’t enjoy life. This has changed all of our lives and we are so happy and our dogs are much happier, settled, content and enjoying their lives too. We are on day three and everything is the same. We’ve been on lots of walks, been to cafes with other dogs and our dogs have sat there beautifully, I can’t believe it… we are so proud and happy. Life is so great. My only regret is not doing this three years ago when we first got Reggie. Thank you so much Kevin. Our chaotic house is now a very calm and happy home for me, my children, Reggie & Frank…. Oh and our visitors :)

Kevin has quite literally changed our lives. Since having our first daughter three years ago, our dog became very protective and reactive. We now have two children and ever since our second, things had got even worse. Rita would bark, nip and warn off anyone who approached our children. She even caught family members hands/legs; causing minor injuries. She would jump up a lot and assert dominance. Her recall was also poor and she didn’t follow instructions. We were unable to take Rita to restaurants or have her around our friend’s children. Our family members and friends were unable to interact with our hug our children as Rita would go for them. Kevin spent four hours with us and our lives are now changed forever. Rita listens carefully, is no longer aggressive, protective or reactive and is a happy, relaxed and calm dog. We thought Rita was aggressive however Kevin showed us that an actual aggressive dog is very rare. He showed us that actually Rita just didn’t know her place in the pack, was anxious/nervous and that we needed to reset things and learn to ‘speak dog’. Thank you so much! You are a miracle worker.

Kevin came to our rescue! We were worried about having to re-home our dog due to hyperactivity, jumping up and puppy biting, amongst other things. Kevin was our last option. From the get go Kevin explained everything to us so we could understand why our dog was behaving how he was. Instantly our dog responded to the training and Kevin showed us what we needed to do, gave us homework which we could follow and also mentioned we could call him anytime in the future. Our dog is a completely different dog and is much more manageable, calmer and now listens and respond well. We just honestly wish we done it sooner.

We cannot thank Kevin enough as within moments he completely transformed our life with our Jack Russell, Monty. Kevin was decisive and  clearly understands dogs and what drives their behaviour. He provided uncomplicated practical advice which has worked right from the offset. We are now living our best life with Monty who now understands his place in the family and can get on with being his doggy happy self. Kevin is a warm and empathetic person, knowledgable and so very skilled. We cannot thank him enough for his help! We now have control and all restrictions have lifted. We can now move forward and enjoy life with our Monty Jack.

I can’t recommend Kevin highly enough. When he arrived and gave us the instructions to “tame” the dogs, we thought - haha, no way will that work. HOWEVER, this guy knows his dogs!! We have continued with his training skills, and our dogs are 100% better. They do what they are told, which has never happened before. If you knew my dogs, you’d know how unruly they were!! Not any more. We are continuing to implement Kevin’s instructions and cannot believe how much they have changed - for the better. Would I recommend Barkbusters!?!? 100% YES! We’ll worth the money for how they are now, and it’s only been 4 days!!

We have a pure blue Staffie called Grizzly. Our trainer "Kevin McDonnell" was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He provided comprehensive theory & practical exercises throughout our session. Kevin also brought his assistant a 40kg Doberman called Bruno. Suffice to say Bruno the Doberman was amazing with our Grizzly. The training was phenomenal. On the day we were immediately seeing successful results as we have learnt to communicate in more appropriate ways that our dog understands.. Grizzly responded superbly to the training. It was brilliant that the training took place in our local environment. We are two days into our new approach and things are going well. We are extremely hopeful and really believe in the changes. Looking forward to putting everything into practice and daily living. Thank you Kevin and Bruno PS the lifetime helpline is also a massive statement.

Kevin was absolutely fantastic and made us feel at ease. His techniques worked straight away and gave us immediate confidence. wow wow wow, what more is there to say? I truly wouldn't go anywhere else for dog training. Kevin is a god wizard, plain and simple. I was corrected and given the proper techniques to take the leadership role off pickle's little shoulders and was given the tools to give him the good life that this little beauty deserves. Look nowhere else, this is the real deal. I actually would love to stay in contact with Kevin and even take my little pickle up on Dartmoor in the future to have a run around with his new friend.

Kevin was brilliant. Hugely personable and knowledgeable, Kevin immediately made a difference with some clear theory and actions that resulted in Buddy releasing a tennis ball on instruction for the first time in his 3 year life! We learnt a massive amount in the 3 hours spent with Kevin and got to apply our learnings in our house, garden and even down at our local beach. Kevin really cares about what he does and we have every confidence that his instruction will leave us with a happier dog (we even got to meet Kevin’s dog "Bruno" who had great fun on the beach with Buddy!)
