Sharon dealt with Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Toileting

I am very impressed with the training up to now. Milo is learning fast. A few things will take him about longer but overall he's doing well. Can't wait for my next lesson.

Our first visit with Sharon couldn't have gone any better! Her expertise and guidance was presented in a very clear way for myself and my son to understand the needs of our dog. Sharon was very friendly at the same time professional and respectful. The training gave us so much confidence and helped us in our attitude and approach towards our dog. We enjoyed the session so much, put all that we learnt into practice and have already seen a positive change in our dog. Thank you Sharon Tania and Jack Ludlam - April 2016

Sharon's first visit to our home was extremely helpful, and she showed a quick understanding of our Border Collie's issues, and our own confusions round the training process. She also accompanied us on a local walk and gave excellent advice on typical daily problems. Although it's early days - just three days after her visit - I feel that Sharon has left us a a workable training programme, plus notes on the visit and a helpful set of hand-outs: Bark Busters' methods are easy-to-follow, reward-based and constructive. I am currently putting her guidelines into practice, and will contact her in a fortnight, as asked, to give a progress report.

Sharon dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling

We were pleased to see Sharon after struggling with some behaviour from our dog. She has given us a plan of action to start work on straight away with demonstrations and explanations on how and why to do this. This has given us confidence and knowledge to work towards resolving the issues, including jumping up at visitors and barking and lunging towards other dogs in the street. We have overhauled the diet as recommended and look forward to further support as we continue through the program.

Sharon was very pleasant and easy to get along with, full of knowledge and advice. She explained everything plainly, and I am so glad to feel there is a solution! My boy and I have much to learn, we shall follow her instruction to the letter, and look forward to great results. Can't help but wish I had found her sooner!

Sharon dealt with Aggression, Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up

Zak is our 8month old GSD and he has greeting, jumping and barking issues and always had to be first through the door. Sharon showed us door techniques along with how to combat his barking. We are now 5 days in and such an improvement with Zak, he waits to be told to enter or go out of a room and his jumping has decreased but still a work in progress. Sharon gave us lots of training tips to continue with Zak and I am sure she will notice a difference on her next visit.

Sharon dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Pulling

Our first session with Sharon went very well and I felt she diagnosed the issues with our dogs quickly . As well as discussing the theory behind the training methods we were going to use, she incorporated several practical exercises to address the problems she had identified, and left us with written instructions so that we would be able to do these ourselves between sessions with her. The dogs responded very well and I am confident that we will see improvements soon.

Sharon dealt with Digging, Jumping up, Puppy management

Sharon came to visit us on a Thursday evening to help with the training of our little puppy Daisy. If we are honest it was more us that needed the training rather than Daisy. Sharon spent some time getting to know a bit about us and Daisy and then got straight into tackling the issues we were experiencing. She showed us some positive ways to encourage good behaviour and we have now successfully trained Daisy not to jump on the sofa and made a big leap into getting her crate trained. In addition Sharon also took Daisy out for a walk and gave us advice on how to positively encourage her as she is a little nervous walking at night. I find the service provided by Sharon to be perfect for our needs. We felt that we needed help in very specific areas hence contacting bark busters rather than puppy training. This is a service I would highly recommend.

Sharon dealt with Jumping up, Pulling, Toileting

This was our 2nd training session and as with the first, we felt it went really well. Alfie and Lily are making real progress and are growing into lovely, well behaved (for the most part :)) dogs. We have been struggling to stop the puppies from jumping up when we enter the room or when they are excited e.g. at mealtimes /walk times etc. and so Sharon showed us some simple techniques for combatting this behaviour. She also showed us the clicker loading and clicker training so that we can encourage Alfie to sit more obediently without the need for repeated requests. We have moved their crates following Sharon's suggestion as they were having a tendency to toilet in a particular place in the dining room and so their beds are now there so discourage them from toileting there. We were also shown new techniques for walking them together (this was introduced during our first session but we hadn't been successful in embedding this). We have plenty to practice now and the children are fully on board with knowing that they can't give them attention when they first walk into the room and this will reinforce the behaviours which we (the adults) are using to discourage them from jumping up. Sharon continues to be a genius at her craft and we are loving the learning - which is delivered in a calm, consistent but firm way. Another great session so thanks very much Sharon!
