Welcome to dog training Stourbridge, my name is Tom Ryan, and I am your local Bark Busters dog behaviourist, therapist and trainer. About me
I was born in the West Midlands and later in life moved to South Staffordshire. After leaving school, I worked in a family-owned business learning how important customer service was and eventually became the proud owner of a thriving, successful company. However, following a very sad incident with my lovely chocolate lab, Milo, my mind was made up to train to become a Bark Busters therapist, as had already happened for my wife and eldest offspring. Milo had slipped his collar whilst with a pet sitter and was involved in a road traffic accident, sadly not surviving the horrible incident. Blaming myself for not training him better which could have prevented such an incident, I had "managed" a behaviour problem, or so I thought, instead of recognising that it could be eliminated with positive training.
