I have to say that Alex was brilliant with Gizmo, he was also extremely helpful with training tips for myself and my husband keith to continue the training and within the first 90 minutes we saw a remarkable difference in Gizmo
I would have no hesitation in recommending Alex and barkbusters to anyone having problems with their dogs.

Great session with George and his parents. Their main issue with George was walking him off lead and ensuring he stayed with them, but before we set off on a walk it is always important to do some work around the home to make sure he was listening to them properly. By the time we set off on a walk George behaved really well. We were all delighted.

Brilliant day; results from first session that I did not expect. Main problem was barking at other dogs but the session goes back to basics and you identify what little habits you have in the home which all have a knock on effect. Even the reassurance of why he was doing it and how my reaction made it worse just made me feel better plus I had the confidence to let him off the lead which I never believed I would. Can't wait for the next session!

To be the second owners of a dog can sometimes have its problems and the more owners worry about the behavioural issues of their dog, the worse the dog can become. Todays session went really well and I'm not sure who is looking forward to the second session more, me or his owners.

I am frequently asked to help people who have had dogs all their lives, and some times the same breed, but have never needed any help or support in the past. Like people all dogs are different and some can certainly be a challenge. This was one of those jobs, but I am delighted to say they were both really pleased with how the session went and i will continue to support them to ensure they can manage the challenging behaviour of their new addition.

Alex made a big difference after just the 1st session of training. Toby used to nip my ankles every day for a full week. He hasn't even tried to nip me since. He used to follow me everywhere and now I can go into another room and he doesn't follow me. Toby has calmed down since Alex came and I am looking forward to the next session.

Toby is a very cute and excitable Westie puppy, who was starting to run rings around his Mummy - literally. We made a lot pf progress during the first session and we have since moved onto recall work with equal success.

The training was excellent. A lot to take in, but Alex was excellent, and explained everything in an easy way to understand. The session was very informative and helpful. We've already seen an improvement in Frank after only a few days of Alex coming. We know we have a lot of work to do, but now feel confident that we can do it.
We would definitely recommend Alex to anybody that needs help with their dog(s)

Frank is a lovely young dog and joined the family after Olive. All went well to start with, but over time the 2 young dogs started falling out which understandably caused worry and concern for their owners. The training session went better than expected and we achieved great results in just 3 hours. I'm delighted to hear that things are continuing to get better for the whole family. Keep up the good work!

Alex arrived on time he was very easy to talk to and asked us what was the problem with meg he listened then explained what he could do to help us solve the issues he took his time with both me and sue and showed us what to do the 3hrs passed so quick he has left us with all the info on which we went through

Although the first session is approx 3 hours it usually flies by for both owner, dog and myself, but in general dogs are listening and behaving better for their owners than before I arrive. Follow support is often important, as although I am good at what I do, we can't always resolve all issues in just 3 hours. Im looking forward to catching up with Meg and the rest of her family in a few weeks.

We are pleased that we got in touch with bark busters,Alex our trainer gave us lots of advice on how to train Blue our six year old terrier who barked at everything in sight, in just a couple of days with the correct harness and lead he is behaving so much better outside and a lot calmer at home.Thanks Alex

Just returned to see Blue and his family today and I am pleased to say he is still a much calmer dog and so is his younger sister. There is still work to be done to reinforce the behaviours we expect from the 2 dogs and to make sure the owners are implementing the training correctly, but I can't wait to catch up with them all in a few weeks time.

Alex dealt with Separation anxiety
We were really impressed and pleased at how Minnie reacted to the training. Alex's approach to the training made us feel at ease and was easy to understand and implement the skills. The transformation with Minnie from when he arrived to as he was leaving was amazing. She's not totally settled yet but with the techniques that Alex taught we don't think it'll take long.

Even I was amazed as to how well Minnie did on her first training session. Separation Anxiety can often take a while to resolve, so to be able to leave her home alone for 10 minutes with no barking during the first session was a massive relief for both Minnie and her owner.

I booked a session with Alex to gain advice and basic training for my new cockapoo puppy. Initially I booked a one off session but within minutes of meeting Alex and seeing his manner with Darcie I extended to a full year straight away.
Alex provided me with the tools, knowledge and confidence to train Darcie as a puppy from a young age. I had been struggling to leave her without her going crazy - jumping, barking, trying to escape and after talking this through with Alex and implementing the training he taught me I had overcome the issue and was able to leave her calmly with no hassle... THE DREAM!
A few weeks after Darcie's first session she had a incident with another dog in the park, this caused her to be anxcious around other dogs. I called Alex and we met up the following day with his dogs to do a pack walk and worked on her socialisation and really helped her overcome her fear.
Having Alex come to my home to train Darcie in her environment is a huge benefit! Plus the option to do recall training outdoors in dog parks is a bonus!
I would highly recommend Alex, he has a real way with Darcie, is super informative and is always on the end of the phone! I trust in his methods as they are proving to work as I have a very happy, well behaved (99% of the time!) puppy!

Alex was professional, courteous & entertaining, making our session thoroughly enjoyable whilst at the same time training us to be become more skillful dog owners.
